The two diagrams detail the changes made to a hospital between 2010 and 2023. Overall, the first floor has been extended and the basement parking has been redeveloped into more healthcare facilities.

In 2010, there was a narrow open area in front of the hospital, with a ramp leading to the underground parking. This has been removed and the hospital has been expanded out with four entrances into a new roomier reception area to make it easier for visitors. This leads them to the existing stairway. Most of the medical facilities on the floor have remained the same with the exception of a new surgery department next to the imaging area.

In the basement, the stairs that used to lead to the parking, now go to a new reception desk, which has a room beyond it for staff to rest in. The maternity unit, which used to be on the first floor, has been relocated to behind these main stairs. Attached to this, a new paediatrics unit has been opened with a larger hospital services room on its far side. Opposite this, a new women’s health centre has been constructed. More new seating areas have also been introduced on either side of the floor by the lifts and stairs.
